Who is Wyn Abbot?

For many years Wyn produced beautiful, spiritual ceramic pieces which were sold all over the world. It was this time spent creating that was instrumental in shaping her artistry, weaving mythology and ancestral knowledge into each piece—a practice she continues through her evocative artwork today.

Before dedicating herself fully to the arts, Wyn worked in the NHS and spent many years teaching across Lancashire and Cumbria (in the UK). She played a key role in developing national resources on Dementia Care and mental health in older adults for the Department of Health, NHS and social care organisations. Wyn holds a degree in Social Care and an MA in Environmental Philosophy.

She explores myths from around the world, with a special passion for Ancient Sumerian and Greek traditions and the Primordial Goddess. Her research delves beyond the written word, seeking the truths hidden within symbols, dreams, and ancestral memory. Wyn is the creator of the best selling Primordial Goddess Oracle Set.

Warm, approachable, and deeply curious, Wyn guides readers into the heart of myth, illuminating the hidden meanings and ancestral wisdom that connect humanity, nature, and the divine. She invites you to journey with her into the timeless stories that shape our understanding of life, the cosmos, and ourselves.

Ensuring that she keeps close to nature Wyn is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a qualified Mountain Leader.
